Signs along the Way.
A special lady and I wrote this some time ago. Hope you enjoy!
Signs along the Way.
You came to me as a gentle breeze
With a feeling, familiar and warm.
It was as if, our souls were joined
By love, before we were born.
It seems Love has no boundaries,
Not time, nor space, nor fear.
With us it always has been,
Just is, not there, but here.
We wander along life's highway,
And many a soul we meet.
But the connection we share together,
Just is.... and can't be beat.
The connection must be simply,
A sign from up above.
For we are never really alone,
Within us is pure love.
When that purity of love within
Bonds with the soul of another.
It transcends both space and time
From one lifetime to another.
The Deepest signs of love are rare,
They truly are a treasure.
And knowing you... it surely is,
The purest, truest pleasure.
Just is...are powerful words to say.
They really hold great faith.
To just let go and let 'Just Is',
Will bind us to our fate.
It is our joy and destiny,
To be bound by God's desire.
The waters of the Universe,
Could not put out that fire.
In His plan, what will be, JUST IS
And no matter what we do,
Signs of Love are his guiding force
To gently carry us through.

Our bond is an example of the highest level of love. One that simply said "JUST IS".
I hope you have a bond you can relate to when you read this.
Carol and I have a love that transcends time and distance. She is in Australia and I am in Canada. It is a love, respect and appreciation that "Just Is."
It was fun and warm writing this together and I share this as a tribute to the bond Carol and I will always share.

I love this, Neil, and it is so possible and so real. Please, when you have time, read my "Love without Guise". Let me know what you think. I love this and am astounded as it is another chain in the link that shows me with certainty that God is with us and watching. Things do not happen randomly. There is a purpose. I recognize great meaning and love and the importance of connection in your piece. Nothing is impossible, Neil.

Amy - Thanks for warm response. I believe in the law of cause and effect rather than purpose and predetermined events. When one is open to the love that is unending and also without beginning, that openness is the cause which attracts the effect.
I agree 100% on your comment re connection. Connection is everything.
Still the difficulty some people have at accepting the fact not everyone can truly give love at as high a level that they may be able to give. (see four levels of love and note my light bulb theory)

Thanks for sharing this lovely poem, making a deep connection and bond with another person sometimes happens when you least expect it (as it did when I met my husband). Even if we are far away from the ones we love, this bond can never ever be broken. Voted up!

My Grandmother used to say, "Watch for the signs." I'd ask, "How do I know what to watch for?" She'd simply reply, "Watch harder." I believe that signs are all around us, and what my Grandmother said applied to all facets of life, including love. Great poem Neil...and Carol.
